Zhe Chen is VOCEL's impact measurement research associate. She is currently a Ph.D. student in teaching and curriculum at the University of Rochester, where she is also pursuing an advanced certificate in Data Science. She also holds two master’s degrees, one in International Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the other in Education Policy from the University of Rochester.

Zhe has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research analyses. Her responsibilities here at VOCEL include, but are not limited to, assisting with the design, administration, and analysis of beginning-of-year surveys for each program, as well as developing a work plan for measuring impact in each program and throughout the organization as a whole. Zhe joined the VOCEL team in the summer of 2022 and she is eager to apply educational theories and analyses to improve the impact of VOCEL while growing in her new role.

Zhe likes to jog, explore nature, and make Asian cuisines in her spare time.
